Therapy Program initiatives

Parent support groups - often parents with children who require therapy are overwhelmed and require support. Knowing that they are not the only ones going through the process helps to instill hope and collaborative efforts between parents and caregivers.

Awareness days - information is key to understanding different conditions and interventions. Awareness days allow for communication and connecting the community to resources they require.

Mental Health support groups - now more than ever it is important to check in on our children, adolescents and adults. Everyone of all ages require mental health support and coping strategies to navigate through life's challenges.

Telehealth interventions - sometimes we are not able to come into the practice for every session but we would still like to receive therapy services. Telehealth is a great way to connect to a therapist and continue the therapeutic relationship.

Educational programs - these are programs designed to address an educational need with a particular group. This may be for parents requiring assistance with how to remove technology from the co-parenting relationship; teachers who would like to know what realistic adaptations can they do in their classrooms for learners who have challenges in learning or for occupational therapists who would like to learn more on a particular area of OT. Educational programs are based on the learning needs of the group or organization.
